Bases and Folds: Make an Origami Square Base!

The Square base can be used for many origami animals, flowers, holiday stuff, and other origami creations. If you don't know how to make one, you've come to the right page! Like always, you'll need a 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm) square sized paper to make the Square base. Let's begin!~

.) Start with your paper with the pale or less colorful side facing you. Make sure you have tilted your paper so that it looks like a diamond.

.) Fold the paper in half, and it should look like a triangle now.

.) Hold the right side of the triangle and pull it from the right side to the left and fold it.

.) Open it up, and it should have a long crease in the middle.

.) Hold the right flap or side and gently open it up.

.) Now squash down the paper.

.) Simply turn your origami piece over to the other side.

.) Now bring the right side from right to left. Open it up and make a squash fold. Congratulations, you've made a square base!~  :D
